Strawberry Manuka Spirulina Face Mask

Hey loves! Today I have a great face mask that is perfect for spring/summer time!

My all time favorite Strawberry/ Manuka/ Spirulina Face Mask!

Manuka honey is known as a natural antibacterial and works wonders for blemished skin. It will keep your skin clear, youthful and hydrated.

I buy mine at Trader Joe’s but there are many more convenience stores that carry this honey.

Spirulina is a natural algae which is incredibly high in protein and nutrients. It is well known for healing and relieving inflammation, fighting free radicals and eliminating toxins including bacteria on the skin, which can lead to acne.

Spirulina is also one of the most alkaline foods on Earth, containing more chlorophyll than common greens and vegetables, another reason it promotes clear skin. It can come in pill form and powder form. For this specific mask it is easier if you buy it in powder form so you can easily mix it with the rest of the ingredients. I bought this one at Whole Foods.

Strawberries are rich in vitamin c, they contain anti-oxidant ellagic acid (known to help fight cancer). They prevent collagen destruction and protect the skin from harmful UV rays.

Other materials needed:
-Glass bowls
-Knife for cutting strawberries
-Brushes for applying facemask
-Spatula for mixing ingredients

All these materials I bought at the dollar store, so there’s no need to spend money on these things.

Mix all of the ingredients and apply the face mask!

Don’t be afraid to taste this wonderful mask! These are all super foods that will nurture you from the inside out as well!

Leave on for 20 minutes, then rinse off with warm water.

You will feel your skin hydrated, fresh and with a beautiful smell of strawberries!
